Nuon is a subsidiary of Vattenfall, one of Europe's largest electricity companies and Europe's largest supplier of heat. Vattenfall's core markets are Sweden, Germany and the Netherlands. Vattenfall is also active in Denmark, Finland, Great Britain and France.
Vattenfall is an integrated energy company with three product groups: electricity, heat and gas. Expansion and growth are anticipated in electricity generation with low CO2 emissions, such as wind power, nuclear power, biomass fuel, hydro power and natural gas.

International cooperation
Vattenfall's internal activities are carried out within an organisational structure based on business divisions. These divisions are: Asset Development; Production; Asset Optimisation and Trading; Distribution & Sales; Renewables.
All employees within Vattenfall work together in international teams at the division level. Needless to say, good relationships with national and local customers and stakeholders are also safeguarded within this structure.
