CSR priorities
Nuon pursues corporate social responsibility in three roles:
Nuon as an energy company
Nuon wants to occupy a prominent position in renewable production capacity, energy saving and energy efficiency. It is our ambition to be CO2-neutral by 2050, which is why we are pursuing renewable generation capacity and sustainable energy technologies. In addition, we are helping our customers to save energy by offering energy advice and energy-saving products.
Nuon as an employer
As an employer, our main priorities are to offer our employees a safe working environment and to occupy a prominent position as an attractive employer.
Nuon in society
We feel that corporate social responsibility also means maintaining an active dialogue with interest groups and environmental organisations, trade unions, customers, municipalities and provinces, and the national government and political world. In so doing, we strive to provide transparency to our stakeholders and to nurture strong community involvement among our employees.
